Hi, I’m Lola. Welcome to my blog, Whatever Lola Wants. My blog name isn’t just a play on my name or tribute to the Ella Fitzgerald song, it’s my mantra. Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets (though it never comes easy or as expected). I’m blessed to say that so far I feel like I’ve received everything I could have ever wanted out of life, and I’m here to help show you how you can, too.

My friends, family, peers and bosses have unanimously praised me for my confidence, ambition, work ethic and self-starter mentality. I’m very blessed and grateful to have accomplished many of the things that I have at my age. At the age of 22, I had graduated high school and college with honors, inspired others as a licensed fitness and health coach, built and maintained financial freedom and good credit, built an impressive resume with years of experience at corporate, start-up and non-profit organizations, and moved out of state (twice) to start a career. (While maintaining a healthy social life, skincare routine and time for slaycations.)

While I’m immensely proud of myself and my achievements, I’m not here to brag, I’m here to inspire.

Even though I’m an only child, I play the sister role very well. From my experience as a cheer sister, sorority sister, church sister and every other sisterhood in between, I’ve always been there to give comfort, advice, support and education. I am starting this blog with the hope that my faith, mindset and lifestyle can be valuable and inspiring to others.

So you can expect inspirational, motivational and educational blogs from me—mixed in with some lighthearted fashion, beauty, home decor and travel content—because adulting sucks if it’s all work and no play, right? I’m not perfect, and I’m sure my content won’t be either, but I hope it’s enough to inspire you to strive for your perfect life.
